Project developer Uplace has some important and challenging real estate projects in the pipeline, in particular the Broeklin project, which recently received his final executable irrevocable permit. Broeklin is one of the largest real estate developments projects in Belgium with over 155.000 m² GLA. It is a vibrant mixed-use project where SME’s, stores, offices, culture and green spaces will find their place. As part of our continuous growth and development of this wonderful project, we are currently looking for a Head of Leasing Offices & SME.

We are committed to innovative solutions and sustainable growth, and we are looking for an experienced Head of Leasing Offices & SME to join our team. As Head of Leasing Offices & SME, you will be specifically responsible for developing and executing our leasing strategy.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

​

  • Develop and execute leasing strategy in line with business objectives to attract potential tenants and optimize portfolio occupancy.

  • Managing external brokers.

  • You will play a key role in maximizing rental income from our Broeklin project and building strong relationships with tenants and partners.

  • Maintaining and building a broad network of relationships and participating in various networks.

  • Analyzing market trends and competitive offers in order to strengthen our position, devising and developing marketing campaigns and new concepts that enable us to engage (future) tenants.

  • Manage relationships with existing tenants to ensure tenant satisfaction and promote lease renewals as well as proactively attract new tenants.

  • Negotiate and draft lease agreements and ensure optimal terms and conditions in collaboration with our legal and marketing department.

  • Report to management on rental performance, including occupancy rates, financial returns and tenant feedback as well as make strategic recommendations.

  • Maintain property related data in the systems available for this purpose.

PROFILE:

​

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in real estate or a related field or equivalent through experience.

  • At least 10 years of experience in offices & SME leasing.

  • A strong personality with a healthy dose of ambition and with a passion for people and real estate.

  • You are driven to meet your targets and get satisfaction from achieving successful deals.

  • You are a top commercial talent, possess strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.

  • You have excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and French.

  • You are easy to get along.

  • You have a network in the retail world and good contacts with brokers.

  • You are stress resistant and excellent at multi-tasking.

  • You are flexible, proactive and take own initiative to tackle tasks and responsibilities decisively, regardless of the work situation or deadline.

  • You have a hands-on mentality and proactively identify opportunities.

  • You possess a B driver's license and are willing to travel to visit our tenants.
